LUNCHTIME LINKS: Buss Named Player of the Week, IU Cheer Champions Again

Women's Basketball

For the first time in her career, and the first for IU since Aulani Sinclair in 2012, Tyra Buss was named Big Ten Player of the Week by the conference. This is not Buss' first recognition by the conference, as she was named Freshman of the Week twice last season.

Cheerleading

For the fourth time in the last five years, Indiana Cheerleading brought home the UCA Cheerleading National Championship. The team that kept the Hoosiers from going 5-for-5 by winning last year, Alabama, came in second this year.

Women's Tennis

IU cleaned up in the doubles matches of the IU Winter Invitational, winning 5 of the 6 matches Monday to finish the weekend 12-5 in doubles.

Men's Basketball

Yogi Ferrell nears the all-time assists record for IU, but his concern is winning basketball games, not setting records.
