Nobody knows what the ACC Network is -- or where you can find it.
Here's all the info you need for Saturday's game.
HOW TO WATCH
Wanna know why Maryland left? Because the ACC's television situation is a mess. All non-national ACC games are on the ACC Network, which is not a network at all. It's a list of affiliates in cities across the region and country -- think of the era when Indiana games were on ESPN+ on WTTV, SEC on Jefferson PIlot Sports, etc. It's not ideal. But luckily (thanks, Louisville!) most TV markets where IU fans will watch the game have a local affilate. Those are as follows:
Indianapolis -- WNDY, MyINDYTV (Channel 10/1010 for most providers)
Evansville -- WFIE 14.2 (That's on the second subchannel, the MeTV one)
South Bend - WMYS (Xfinity Channel 269, U-verse channel 69...... nice.)
Louisville - WHAS11 (ABC affiliate)
Chicago -- WCIU 26.2 (another digital subchannel)
You'll also be able to watch the game online and on mobile via the WatchESPN app -- as long as you subscribe to ESPN as part of your cable package. In addition, break-ins will be shown on the ESPN Goal Line channel -- which is similar to NFL RedZone in spirit.
OTHER GAME VITALS
Kick time: 12:30pm
Current line: Indiana, -3.5
Weather: NOT GREAT, BOB. High of 65, Light rain expected, Winds 10-20mph
What other games should I keep tabs on for the #iufb4gameday thing?
Well, Clemson has a bye -- so nothing going there. But you should root like crazy for UMass and Southern!
Georgia takes on Southern at Noon on the SEC Network.
Notre Dame hosts UMass at 3:30 - and that one (of course) is on NBC.
