Today, the #88 overall prospect in the class of 2016 ended his recruitment by announcing his decision to play for Pat Chambers at Penn State. The writing was certainly on the wall for Penn State, especially after AAU teammate and close friend Tony Carr (4-star PG, #47 overall) chose the Nittany Lions earlier this summer.

It is quite the recruiting haul, as both Carr and Stevens should be expected to come in and contribute immediately. The two excelled for Team Final (PA) during the AAU season, taking in a number of accolades throughout the spring and summer while talking extensively of the possibility of playing together in college.

Stevens had been strongly linked to Indiana throughout his recruitment, as he visited the school for an unofficial last November. However, IU's recruitment of the 6'6", 190 lb forward seemed to stall this summer after Carr made his decision, while Penn State ramped up their efforts.

Pat Chambers has built quite a class for 2016 that should end up being nationally ranked, as Stevens joins a list that includes Carr, 4-star PF Joe Hampton, and 3-star SF Nazeer Bostick
