College football odds and betting lines, week 3: Indiana opens as 3-point favorite over Western Kentucky

The Hoosiers are favored for the third straight week to open the season.

Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports

The early money in Vegas likes Kevin Wilson's Hoosiers to move to 3-0 Saturday, but just by a field goal.

Per OddsShark, the Hoosiers opened as a 3-point betting favorite this morning -- but the sharps seem to already like Western Kentucky. The line has already moved to -2.5 in a handful of offshore sportsbooks. It's not wholly suprising -- the Tops didn't lose a ton from a bowl team last season that ended Marshall's undefeated run last season and have already knocked off a Power 5 opponent in Vanderbilt this season. However, Western suffered a big hit in losing 1500+ yard rusher Leon Allen in last Thursday's win over Louisiana Tech.
