Here are a few tidbits of news from the past few days regarding IU targets in the 2016 class:
- Ibi Watson has quickly become a name to seriously watch in the 2016 class for Indiana fans. The 3-star shooting guard's play in the spring and summer recruiting periods caught the eye of Tim Buckley and other IU coaches, leading to a scholarship offer. In addition, Watson has said he plans to make a decision quickly and that it could come before school starts back up in August.
- A more familiar name that has picked up traction recently is Curtis Jones. The 4-star guard plays for Huntington Prep and the Boo Williams AAU team, both of which schools have strong ties to Indiana. Jones is originally from the Virginia area and is a close friend of current IU guard Robert Johnson. A former teammate of Thomas Bryant, Jones was recently on campus for an unofficial visit, and now has announced he will be coming back the weekend of August 28-29 for an Official Visit. He is also seriously considering Georgetown, among others.
P.S. - A quick shoutout to Ty Rogers and the graphic design team for Indiana. The photoshop game is strong for Rogers and IU, and the recruits seem to love the result, as his works are constantly being posted to social media by top recruits. For example, here is a tweet from Curtis from two days ago.

- Also making an Official Visit on August 28-29 will be Curtis Jones' Huntington Prep teammate Miles Bridges. Bridges, a 5-star SF prospect, is currently ranked #18 in the class of 2016. He recently cut his list down to 5 schools: Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan St., and North Carolina.
