LUNCHTIME LINKS: Football Players on Watch Lists, Big Ten Academic Honors

Junior guard Dan Feeney was named to the preseason watch list for the Outland Trophy, awarded annually to the best offensive lineman in the nation. Semifinalists for the award will be named November 19th.

Also finding himself on a preseason watch list is senior QB Nate Sudfeld, who was named to the Maxwell Award watch list. The Maxwell Award semifinalists will be named November 2nd.

IU Athletics

34 Hoosier athletes were recipients of the Big Ten Distinguished Scholars Award for the 2014-15 season. Each recipient maintained a 3.7 GPA or higher for the prior academic year.
