Due in part to this being Finals Week for IU, there weren't as many sporting events to talk about. However, there was quite a bit of news related to IU football, and IU Track and Field had one last competition before the Big Ten Championships, so today's links will focus heavily on those.
Football
Two sets of future non-conference games have been set, with Indiana extending their series with Florida International, adding a home and a road game to the current home and road plans for the 2015 and 2016 seasons, and reupping with Western Kentucky for two home games followed by an away game in 2019-2021. The Hoosiers also face WKU this season.
As has already been reported a few different times here at the Quarry, Tevin Coleman was selected in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. While Tevin was the only Hoosier selected in the Draft, three of his teammates have already signed undrafted free agent contracts. Shane Wynn joins Tevin in Atlanta, Colin Rahrig signed with Pittsburgh, and Bobby Richardson got a deal from New Orleans.
Track and Field
The Hoosiers collected 11 event wins at the Billy Hayes Invitational, including Nakel McClinton's school record throw in the women's hammer throw.
