Monday, the NCAA selection committee rewarded the Hoosiers for two-thirds of a magnificent season, and gave them the benefit of the doubt when it came to the middle third. The committee named Indiana the 3-seed in the Vanderbilt regional that will also include the host, Vanderbilt, as well as Radford and Lipscomb.
Indiana will play Radford on Friday at 3 p.m. EST. If you want to purchase tickets, you must do so through Vanderbilt University Athletics by 2 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 26.
The Big Ten received five bids as a conference, which included Illinois as the No. 6 National Seed. Conference tournament champion Michigan earned the 3-seed in the Louisville regional.
Tomorrow, we'll have a preview of the Vanderbilt regional and the potential super regional matchups.
