Thon Maker shouts out Hoosier fans on Facebook

Could a social media post be a hint at his direction for next year?

Another day, another hint in the latest IU recruiting saga.

Thon Maker, the uncommitted 5-star recruit of South Sudanese descent who currently plays in Canada but also has spent time in Australia, took to Facebook yesterday to shout out the fanbase of a school that is currently recruiting him. Can you guess which fanbase this was?

Lots of Indiana guys really want me there! Let's see how it goes. Thanks for the love! :)

That's right, it was Hoosier Nation. Maker visited Bloomington on the same day as Thomas Bryant back in March, and by all accounts seemed to enjoy his visit.

A lot of questions still exist about Thon Maker's recruitment, such as if he'll stay in North America instead of playing overseas, as well as when the prospect would actually start playing for a college, but for any Hoosier fans who are trying to read tea leaves about the direction that Maker is hoping to go, they can use his recent Facebook post as ammunition.

As always, we'll keep you posted on the latest in #THONWATCH.
