LUNCHTIME LINKS: Ball State is Back on the Schedule, and other news

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

After being on a break since 2012, IU Athletics has announced that IU and Ball State will again tangle in a three game series starting in 2018.

In the middle of an otherwise forgettable weekend against Rutgers, Indiana pulled out an 8 run rally in the final three innings to take a game off the Scarlet Knights 8-7.

Women's Swimming and Diving

The Hoosiers women brought home a 10th place team finish at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, led by freshman Jessica Parratto bringing home an individual championship in platform diving.

Senior Taylor Walsh came up just short in his bid to become IU's first NCAA wrestling champion since 2008, finishing second to defending national champion Alex Dieringer of Oklahoma State.

Women's Soccer

As the weather is starting to warm (in some parts of the country, anyway) and spring is sprung, soccer season is right around the corner, and IU Women's Soccer is getting ready.

They're baaaaaaaack!
