Indiana had both the Big Ten player of the week (infielder Austin Cangelosi) and freshman of the week (pitcher Brian Hobbie), so honored for their contributions in defeating Eastern Michigan and Cal State Fullerton last week.

Softball
IU Softball picked up its 1000th win Saturday, defeating IPFW 9-2. The Hoosiers are 9-18 on the season.
Women's Water Polo
As part of the Aztec Invite this past weekend, the Hoosiers dispatched host #12 San Diego State and #20 UC San Diego. This coming weekend, the Hoosiers face another pair of tough road tests in #14 Long Beach State and #6 Arizona State.
