Indiana runs roughshod over Minnesota & LIL' RICK at home 90-71. WHAT DID WE LEARN?
1. HELLO, THREE SWISH MAFIA.

new nickname for this #iubb team: THREE SWISH MAFIA

I'm going to force this nickname until it sticks. It is an awesome, well-earned nickname for a team that just made a school record EIGHTEEN three pointers at home against a Minnesota team that couldn't seem to figure out how to close out on Indiana's shooters. James Blackmon got his stroke back, pouring in 24 points on 9-14 and proving once again that people on message boards are really super insane. But others contributed to the shooting hot streak as well -- including Troy Williams -- who made just his 2nd and 3rd threes on the year in the ballgame. Hoosier fans should be happy to see Blackmon & Co. stroking it well again -- especially with a hot Purdue team coming into Assembly Hall on Thursday.
Please photoshop Blackmon, Yogi, & (select third hoosier) onto this album cover and send it to me. You will be doing a true service to the people of this state, and we will all be forever indebted to you.
EDIT: This was in my inbox this morning. God bless y'all.
2. YOGI DOESN'T HAVE TO SCORE TO AFFECT THE GAME
You know this, but Yogi Ferrell doesn't have to score the basketball to be effective. Even on an off 3-of-11 shooting night, Ferrell facilitated like a wizard, orchestrating Indiana's record shooting performance. He dished out 11 dimes on the night and that's the kind of FLOOR GENERALNESS the Hoosiers will need if they're looking to make a run deep in march.
3. TROY (ALMOST) CAUGHT A BODY
