Men's Soccer

From the Indy Star, AJ Corrado becomes the first IU athlete to take advantage of the "Hoosiers for Life" program and return to IU to finish his degree.

Direct from IU Athletics, the 2015 class of freshman for the men's team had their signing day yesterday, bringing in eight total recruits. Six will enroll for next school year, while two are already on campus.

Women's Soccer

Also from IU Athletics, the women's soccer team had their own signing day a week ago, welcoming seven new Hoosiers to Bloomington, one of whom has already enrolled for the spring semester.

Field Hockey

The IU Athletic Department announced Monday the hiring of Amanda Janney as head coach. She comes to Indiana from Temple, where she spent a decade as their head coach.

Baseball

BaseballAmerica projects Logan Sowers to be the Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

D1Baseball.com also projects Logan Sowers to be the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, but also predicts that Indiana will finish 4th in the Big Ten and return to the Regionals.

Softball

The softball team began their season at the Kajikawa Classic, ending the weekend with a 1-4 record.
