Nittany Lions at Hoosiers GAMETHREAD

New, comments

In the last 24 hours both teams have lost a contributor that was expected to play tonight. Neat! (Not really)

Matthew O'Haren-USA TODAY Sports

Who? Penn State Nittany Lions (12-4, #116 KenPom) v. Indiana Hoosiers (12-4, #54 KenPom)

When? 7:00 PM, BTN

Vegas? INDIANA -7.5

Pomeroy? INDIANA by 9, 80% chance of Indiana victory

Four Factors
eFG% TO% OR% FT Rate
INDIANA (Offense) 54.9% (23rd) 17.2% (46th) 35.9% (43rd) 37.8% (159th)
PENN STATE (Defense) 44.8% (62nd) 18.0% (267th) 30.9% (156th) 40.7% (241st)
eFG% TO% OR% FT Rate
INDIANA (Defense) 46.9% (106th) 16.0% (328th) 33.6% (268th) 27.2% (20th)
PENN STATE (Offense) 49.0% (154th) 18.7% (121st) 31.5% (167th) 39.8% (120th)

So Hanner Mosquera-Perea is out 2-4 weeks after suffering a kneecap injury on Monday while Penn State guard John Johnson is currently suspended for an unspecified violation of the team's personal conduct policy. Tonight's rotations will certainly be something to see and will no doubt be discussed to even greater length than they typically are. Many are clamoring for Jeremiah April but, honestly, I would not be surprised if he didn't play a minute. Given his handling in the non-conference, he doesn't seem like a player Tom Crean will be leaning on for any stretch of time in a B1G contest.
