Indiana vs. Iowa: Game Thread

Mary Langenfeld-USA TODAY Sports

A week later than expected the Hoosiers and Hawkeyes will finally be squaring off in Assembly Hall. With each team only getting a day to prep for the other it should be interesting to see how each squad comes out of the gate. Iowa is desperate for a win to keep their tourney resume up and finish the season respectably. Indiana is just trying to tread water and finish out the season.

For the first time in a few years the Hoosiers get to play spoilers and getting the win tonight would do just that. Indiana could hand Iowa their third straight loss and put them completely out of Big Ten contention and unlikely to even go out and grab a top 3 finish. Meanwhile, a win for the Hoosiers pretty much assures they stay out of the basement and in that third tier of the four tier conference standings.

So who does what tonight? Does Iowa get a decent true road win and back on track or do the Hoosiers guarantee they'll at least be better than a few teams this season? Either way I hope it's at least interesting. Stick around to see the results. Go Hoosiers.
