After receiving commitments of defensive backs Will Dawkins of Florida and Georgia's Kiante Walton earlier this morning, the Indiana football team has added another prospect to the fold this afternoon.
Long time Purdue pledge Simmie Cobbs, a 6-4 205 pound wide receiver, has flipped from the Boilermakers to the Hoosiers, according to the guys over at Core6, a training and recruiting firm ran by one time IU linebacker Paul Szczesny and other former college athletes that Cobbs is affiliated with:

Cobbs' is the 25th prospect to commit to the Hoosiers and fourth wide receiver to do so joining J-Shun Harris, Coray Keel and Dominique Booth. With the pledge from Cobbs, Kevin Wilson and staff have watched the 2014 class really take shape over the last few weeks and now find themselves on cruise control as National Signing Day creeps upon us.
A three star prospect, according to most of the major recruiting outlets, Cobbs is the 162nd wide receiver, 39th recruit the state of Illinois has to offer and 1,265th overall player in the entire class of 2014, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
