The Week in IUBB Recruiting

Keeping tabs on (potential) future Hoosiers as the high school season gets underway.

News, notes, and any other random thoughts that deal with Hoosier recruits.

  • 2015 signee Juwan Morgan is off to a solid start for Waynesville, averaging 13.3 PPG over his team's first three games, all wins.
  • IU's other 2015 commit, O.G. Anunoby, scored 27 in Jefferson City's opening night win. He then followed it up with a 35 point, 11 rebound performance on Friday night. He also did this. Do more of this, O.G., I can get used to this.

Other tidbits:

  • Apparently Tom Crean isn't aware how scholarship restrictions work, and isn't done stockpiling names for the 2015 class, as he had coaches scouting C Antonio Vrankovic, a Center out of Pine Crest HS in Fort Lauderdale.
  • Assistant coach Chuck Martin was at the Marshall Country Hoop Fest in Kentucky on Friday, presumably to watch Huntington Prep (WV) and their trio of IU targets, among others. Huntington Prep got the win over Arsenal Tech (IN), with 2015 big man Thomas Bryant going for 19 and 10 on 9/10 shooting.
