This morning class of 2014, defensive back Tony Fields announced that he will spend the next chapter of his playing days suiting up for the Hoosiers. The 5-11 185 pound, three star prospect picked Indiana over a long list of programs that included the likes of Missouri, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, TCU, Louisville and many other major conference teams.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, The latest Hoosier commit, Fields, is the 67th cornerback, 139th ranked recruit from the Sunshine state and 957th overall prospect in the entire class of 2014. Last season at Tallahasse Florida's Amos P. Godby High school, the three star prospect, who will suit up at safety when he reaches Bloomington, accounted for 71 tackles and four interceptions to help lead his Cougars to an overall record of 10-2 and a state playoff birth.
Fields is now the 23rd class of 2014 recruit to give the staff their verbal commitment and fifth to do so in the last few days, joining Tommy Mister, Waynedriko Smith, Tegray Scales and Zeke Walker.
