Tegray Scales commits to Indiana

Kevin Wilson and Indiana added their 21st commitment to the class of 2014 last night when three star linebacker Tegray Scales committed to the Hoosiers over Minnesota and others.

Last night the Hoosiers added their third commitment of the weekend when three star linebacker Tegray Scales became the 21st overall class of 2014 prospect to pledge to play his college ball for Kevin Wilson and Indiana. Scales, a 6-2 215 pound, defensive beast was not just named Co- Miami Conference Player of the Year but also Division 1 Co-Defensive Player of the Year for the entire state of Ohio by the Associated Press last season, after the now future Hoosier had an incredible season for Cincinnati Colerain.

Tegray officially visited Bloomington over the weekend and decided to finally commit to Indiana after having them as his leader for what seems likes months now. Looking for bodies on the defensive side of the ball, Scales has the talent set to be a force at Indiana for years to come. Blessed with great speed and toughness, Scales isn't afraid to bang with the big boys on the offensive line or stick a running back out in the flats on a passing route.

The 247Composite ranks Scales as the 33rd outside linebacker, 24th top player in the Buckeye state and 427th overall prospect in the whole entire class of 2014. Before deciding  Bloomington was the right spot for him, he was giving Big Ten foes Minnesota and Illinois a serious look.
