A quick place holder to talk about the game here in the aftermath. The Hoosiers came into the game with a ton of questions to answer and they really answered a lot of them. Indiana struggled at times and some pretty solid coaching moves by Crean (outside one late dumb one) got them back into it.
Yogi Ferrell had a definition volume shooter night where he poured in 24 points on about the same amount of shots. Along with Ferrell, Sheehey showed up and had a huge game for the Hoosiers. It can't be stated enough how much maturity this squad showed as they battled tons of adversity. Shots weren't falling, calls weren't going their way, but they battled the whole night and it paid off in the end.
Next Indiana goes to Northwestern to try to avoid a letdown road trip. Illinois already stands as a warning of what can happen at any point in the Big Ten no matter the competition. The Hoosiers need to follow this game up with a big win on Saturday.
