This game has the makings of a strange outcome. It seems like it has been oddly undersold for such a big game in Assembly Hall. Everyone was focused on the win from Saturday and what the Hoosiers could do to potentially turn this season around, but no one is really paying any mind to tonight. I just don't think a lot of people are giving Indiana much of a chance.
That is, everyone but the guys who's job it is to make money off of this result. The Vegas betting lines started out at Indiana +2.5. I always find it really strange when Vegas feels better about a team than actual said fan base. But this one appears to be one where Vegas is MUCH more confident than the fan base. It does give me a little bit of hope, because those guys know their stuff.
Still, I wouldn't get my hopes too high. Hopefully whatever the result it is at least a battle. A win against Wisconsin would go a long way to pumping up the rest of our season. Stick around to see if we get some real excitement tonight. Go Hoosiers.
