The Hoosiers didn't just have Navy in town Saturday evening, they also had a number of recruits on hand. One of those prospects was Galion, Ohio defensive back Cario Davison. "My visit to Indiana went great, other than Indiana wasn't selected to win" Daivson told The Crimson Quarry.
A member of the class of 2015, Davison had to sit out his sophomore season due to Ohio High School Athletic Association transfer rules and missed most of the summer camp circuit getting over an ACL injury, which is a key reason why he has yet to receive a scholarship offer. Most teams are waiting for recent game film from Davison. Programs such as Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern and IU are all showing increased interest. After Cario's Saturday visit, it sounds like the staff could pull the trigger and offer him at any moment " I spoke with Coach Johns quite a bit" Davison stated. "He said they are going to recruit me as if they have already offered. They want to be first to offer but they just need to see a little more film". Davison went on to add " The defense is still growing and I think I could help on that side of the ball".
The 6-2 190 pound under the radar Ohio native is no stranger to the Bloomington campus. "This was my third or fourth trip to Indiana" he said. " I can see myself as a Hoosier and I hope they offer soon". Davison isn't looking to drag out the recruiting process and would like to commit early. " I want a few solid offers then I'm going to make an early choice. I won't be casting a bunch of offers, I have a good idea about schools already because I've been visiting schools since the end of my freshman year".
