Indiana recruiting: 2015 WR Alex Ofodile talks offer

The Hoosiers recently offered 2015 wide out Alex Ofodile. See what the Missouri native had to say about it and more.

Head coach Kevin Wilson and the Hoosiers joined the likes of Illinois, Kentucky and Vanderbilt recently in offering class of 2015 Missouri wide receiver Alex Ofodile. A four star prospect, Ofodile is definitely one of the top players in his class. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Alex is the 121st player in the nation, 12th wide receiver and second overall player the state of Missouri has to offer.

The Crimson Quarry had a few moments of Ofodile's time last night and had the talented play maker break down his Indiana offer and what it means to have the chance to play in Bloomington.

" It feels nice to add an Indiana offer. I was actually surprised when I got it. The coach I talk with most is coach Inge. I haven't really talked scheme yet and how they throw the ball around (with the staff). I'm definitely planning on visiting campus sometime soon. When I think Indiana football I think explosive offense, for sure. They put up 73 in the home opener and that's impressive."

Standing 6-3 and around 185 pounds, Ofodile has backed up all his accolades on the field. As a sophomore for Columbia's Rock Bridge High, Alex, who is coached by his father, caught 60 passes for 824 yards and five touchdowns. His play earned him All District and MFCA First Team All-State honors. He didn't disappoint in the first game of his junior campaign either. Alex went out and snagged five passes for 76 yards in a tough fought 41-35 victory over De Smet Jesuit last Friday night.
