Donovan Clark Commits To Indiana

3 star CB is Hoosiers 7th 2014 commitment.

Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE

Kevin Wilson's 2014 class hasn't yet received the same publicity that the 2013 class did, but the program took another encouraging step yesterday with the addition of Fort Wayne South Side cornerback Donovan Clark. Donovan is given a 3 star rating via Rivals; they also consider him to be the top corner in the state. Up to this point, Clark has received mostly MAC offers, with B1G programs showing interest. He also played QB and running back in high school, so he's a talented kid all around. Clark committed during his visit, and will likely play CB at IU, adding some much needed talent and depth to a historically poor position for the Hoosiers.

This is a solid commitment for Indiana football. If Kevin Wilson can continue to sway 3 and maybe even 4 star kids who have big program interest, I like our chances to continue improving. I can't help but feel like Donovan would have gotten some big time offers had he waited it out a little longer. Welcome Donovan to Hoosier Nation by giving him a follow on Twitter (@DonovanC_1).
