It's been quite some time since we could look forward to a draft like this one.

In fact, it's been nearly 40 years since a pair of Indiana players were expected to go this high.

In 1976, Scott May and Quinn Buckner each went in the top 10, with May coming off the board at No. 2 and Buckner getting selected seventh. Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller are expected to be among the first handful of names called out tonight by Commissioner David Stern.

Oladipo is generally thought to be a shoo-in for a top-five pick, while Zeller, depending on what you read, could anywhere from fifth to 12th.

Needless to say, it's going to be a fun night for Indiana fans. Both of these players were instrumental in Indiana's turnaround over these past two seasons, and each will go down as two of Hoosier Nation's most beloved players. It's going to be great to watch them fulfill their dreams this evening.

We could be in for a wild, surprise-filled draft. Let's enjoy it.
