A day after Gary Harris was named Mr. Basketball, the roster of the 2012 Indiana All Star team has been announced:
Gary Harris - Hamilton Southeastern - Michigan St. Spartans
Kevin Ferrell - Park Tudor - Indiana Hoosiers
Kellen Dunham - Pendleton Heights - Butler Bulldogs
Ron Patterson - Indianapolis Broad Ripple - Indiana Hoosiers
Austin Burgett - Avon - Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Jeremy Hollowell - Lawrence Central - Indiana Hoosiers
Ronnie Johnson - North Central - Purdue Boilermakers
Patrick Ingram - North Central - Iowa Hawkeyes
R.J. Hunter - Pike - Georgia St. Panthers
D.J. Balentine - Kokomo - Evansville Aces
Glenn Robinson III - Lake Central - Michigan Wolverines
DeJuan Marrero - Bowman Academy - DePaul Blue Demons
Nick Osbourne - Muncie Central - Loyola of Chicago Ramblers
Those three are all of the 2012 IU recruits eligible for selection. Hanner Mosquera-Perea was not eligible because LaLumiere is not an IHSAA school. It's a pretty impressive squad this year, with seven Big Ten-bound players, three more who are going to major programs, and one, RJ Hunter, who could have gone major had he not elected to play for his dad, former IUPUI coach Ron Hunter.
