Cody Latimer named Big Ten co-offensive player of the week.

The IU receiver was one short of a school record with three touchdown receptions in a 24-21 win over Iowa.

There have been lots of "first time since..." moments for IU football recently. Against Illinois, IU won its first Big Ten game since 2010 (and first under Kevin Wilson) and for the first time in Champaign since 2006. Against Iowa, IU won its first Big Ten home game since 2009 and won its second consecutive Big Ten game for the first time since 2007 (2007 also was IU's last time winning two or more Big Ten games). Adding to the list is Cody Latimer, who caught all three of IU's touchdowns in a 24-21 win over Iowa. His three TD receptions were one short of the record set by James Hardy in 2006 (against Michigan State, although Iowa fans might not believe that), and he becomes the tenth Hoosier to catch three TDs in a single game. Latimer is IU's first offensive player of the week since Ben Chappell in 2010.
