I suppose some will complain that I kept Alabama ahead of Boise. The Broncos have been very good, but I simply don't believe they could hold up to the sort of week-by-week schedule played by a team like Alabama. So, does that mean I would advocate an Alabama-LSU championship game if Stanford and Oklahoma State lose and Alabama and LSU win out? I don't know. I'm taking it one week at a
Michigan and Nebraska, two teams I didn't much believe in, took the biggest drops of the week. Houston doesn't have the schedule to break in to the one-loss elite, even if the Cougars remain undefeated, but they can't be ignored at this point. They aren't just winning, they are dominating.
