I'm not sure how to describe this. It's a series written by an NBA blogger about his life as the freshman year roommate of a highly touted basketball recruit at a major university. It's oddly captivating, perhaps because the guy is about the same age as I am, as it's ultimately possible to deduce. He doesn't name the school, the player, or the "future NBA All-Star" leading his school's team, but most of you will figure it out (it's not IU, for the record).
The series now consists of 17 long parts, so you won't read it in one setting. If you don't enjoy it, sorry. But this guy is a very good writer, and the exploits (or lack thereof) of a painfully awkward college freshman intermingled with big time college basketball makes it pretty interesting.
