Indinia? Jesus Christ, is there any QC in Bloomington? I thought IU prided itself on its English department?
"Sources tell FootballScoop Indiana director of athletic performance David Ballou has accepted Nick Saban’s offer to be the new strength coach for Alabama football."
Well, well, well. If it isn’t our old friend CuJo. It’s going to be weird seeing him suit up for the Nittany Lions, but I hope he’s able to do well there. Just not against IU.
Some pics of the progress.
"The IU Board of Trustees' Facilities and Auxiliaries Committee voted Friday to approve a new indoor arena for Hoosier wrestling and volleyball, to be located in the athletics campus near Memorial Stadium. The 2,500- to 3,000-seat venue will be used as a competition facility for both volleyball and wrestling, as well as the practice facility for volleyball."
Number 87 is one of 10 semifinalists for the 2016 Burlsworth Trophy. The Burlsworth Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding football player in America who began his career as a walk-on. Please take a second to add your vote to the tally. Voting is open until November 15 and you can vote one time each day. Let's make this happen!
2017 swingman Jermaine Samuels Jr. trimmed his list down to five schools on Thursday afternoon with the Hoosiers making the cut. Samuels, a four-star SF out of Masachussetts, is ranked as the 44th best player in 2017 and the 9th best small forward according to 247sports. Interestingly, 247 also listed Xavier as the heavy favorite. With the Musketeers out, Villanova and Duke will likely be the favorites.
Kris Wilkes, the 5-star SF out of Indianapolis, set an Official Visit in Bloomington for the weekend of October 1st. It should be a wild weekend on campus as the football team should (will) be 3-0 heading into a matchup with Michigan State. The #15 player in the class of 2017 has a visit scheduled for UCLA the weekend before, and a visit to Illinois on September 9th. He plans to take visits to his two other finalists, Xavier and UConn, but has not set dates for those yet.
Now third-string at Cincy. Query, who is the most tragic figure in Indiana High School Football history: Kiel, Earl Haniford IV, or Alex Smith?
