Enis backed away from his verbal to the Wolverines last month after indicating he wanted to stay closer to home so his family could easily come to games. Michigan State was initially heavy on Enis after he reopened his recruitment. Enis also says his scholarship offer wasn't refused or revoked and that Michigan still desired him as part of the class. Michigan assistant Jedd Fisch visited Enis on the eve of his decommitment.
Eventually, the 6'1", 170-pound back narrowed his field of contenders to Indiana and Miami (OH). Oxford is roughly an hour away from his hometown of Winchester, just north of Richmond, compared to the 2.5 hour jaunt to Bloomington.
Enis was the state's top uncommitted prospect heading into today, and the state's 7th best player overall per 247Sports. Indiana's now inked two of the top seven players in the state in the 2016 class. By comparison, Purdue has zero of the top 29.
Check out his 2015-16 highlights below. That upright running style might remind you of another #6 to recently don the Cream & Crimson in Bloomington.
