Miles Bridges will stay home after all.

The 6'6", 218 lb Bridges ended his recruitment today, as he announced his college plans at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. The super talented wing, being courted by nearly every major program in the country at one point, had recently narrowed his list to MSU, IU, and UK.
Among the Hoosier faithful, there was some hope that Bridges would continue in the path laid down by former and current Huntington Prep teammates Thomas Bryant and Curtis Jones, but it was not to be.
Tom Izzo and the Spartans have quietly put together an extremely strong 2016 class that now includes Bridges, 5-star wing Josh Langford, and 4-star big man Nick Ward. It was not a rash decision as Izzo has been all in on Bridges since he was a sophomore.
"Izzo's been recruiting me since 10th grade," Bridges said. "I talk to (former Spartan) Draymond (Green) a lot. He teaches me how to keep calm through adversity. Just to keep my head." (Source)
While it was always a pipe dream that Bridges would suit up in the cream and crimson, here's to hoping the Hoosiers aren't reminded of what could have been every time Bridges and Michigan State come to town.
