The good news keeps rolling in for the Hoosiers, as 2014 defensive back Kiante Walton flips his commitment from Appalachian State to Indiana after officially visiting over the weekend.

Soon after receiving the commitment of Florida athlete Will Dawkins, fellow class of 2014 prospect Kiante Walton announced via Twitter that he is now a member of the IU family.

Walton, a three star cornerback out of Columbus,Georgia had been committed to Appalachian State since the middle of December but decided to take an official visit to Indiana over the weekend after landing his offer from the staff earlier in the week.

Indiana and Appalachian State weren't the only programs trying to add him to their roster. Missouri, Kansas State, Army and BYU also offered Kiante full ride scholarships.

As a senior at Carver High, Kiante finished the year with 40 total tackles and picked off five passes, returning one for a touchdown, while also showcasing his talents on special teams in the return game.

With the addition of Dawkins and Walton to the class, Kevin Wilson and company are now sitting at 24 total commitments just days before Wednesday's National Signing Day.
