IU lands first #1 seed in 20 years.
It wasn't the Midwest #1 that was hoped for, but IU earned a #1 seed and will play its first round games in Dayton. IU will play LIU-Brooklyn or James Madison. IU then would play the winner of NC State-Temple. The other top seeds in the region are #2 Miami, #3 Marquette, and #4 Syracuse.
