In a season that is quickly shaping up to have 'Everything or Bust' written all over it for the Hoosiers...B1G regular season title, #1 seed in the Indianapolis region, the 9th Final Four in school history and, Lord willing, Banner #6 hanging from the rafters, Ohio State just provided a timely assist towards the first rung of the ladder for cutting down the nets: Aaron Craft threw in a career best 21 points on an uncharacteristically high (read: better than 20% from the field) 7 for 12 shooting to drop a Spartan team that gave the best team in the nation all they had this past Tuesday. Thank you Aaron Craft for all but gift wrapping a Big Ten title for the Hoosiers.
While sizing up Assembly Hall for Banner #6 would be premature (we all know how famous the tournament format is for shattering the dreams of front runners) a conference title in the best Big Ten in a generation (arguably EVER) would be the first feather in the cap on the path to the Final Four. While the names of the champions for this season are far from determined, having the Hoosiers end the season with anything short of the first title brought home to Bloomington by a coach not named Branch McCracken or Bob Knight would be a legitimate disappointment.
Such is the strife for a fan base whose team is "back."
Now, finish the season strong, Hoosiers, and show the rest of the nation exactly whose game it is they have been playing!
