Roster with Recruiting

Crean is a good coach and I think he has done well here. My biggest concern as a fan is what our roster looks like year in and year out. We are a B1G program where you have to have the big bodies to defend here. Michigan St, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan and even Purdue are very large up front. We have no way of competing with a truly talented big man. Noah is a beast at 6'9 240 but has problems staying on the court and Hanner doesn't understand how to use his body or athleticism.

I guess my concern looking to next year is that we have 2 guards and a forward that is not a post player coming to Indiana. We are packed with forwards that are 6'6 6'7 that just don't have a post threat. This is what I feared when we hired CTC. Marquette was good, but never had good big men. It was Wing university. We have to have solid big's.

Our Roster looks like this if no one transfers or declares;

PG - Yogi (5'11)

SG - Robinson (6'4), Johnson (6'4), Blackmon Jr. (6'2)

SF - Williams (6'7), Etherington (6'6), Hollowell (6'7), Hartman (6'6), Hoetzel (6'7)

PF - Vonleh (6'9), Davis (6'6), Perea (6'8)

C - Jurkin (7'0)

That is a lot of wings with not a lot of experience at PG or Center. If Vonleh goes pro you are in a lot of trouble. The nervousness of this feeling is tough. How do we get help at those positions?
