I don't want to step on anyone else's wrap-up, so I'll keep this quick. Six Hoosiers, led by Jeremy Hollowell 16 points, scored double figures in high-fouling, high-scoring affair. Indiana shot 55 of the game's 82 free-throws. Hollowell also led the team in blocked shots with four. Also notable, Noah Vonleh scored 11 points and grabbed 14 boards. Even better, he went 5-for-5 from the charity stripe. The Hoosiers also crushed CSU on the boards 62-36, nabbing 18 offensive boards to the visitors' 19 defensive rebounds. My eyes were particularly opened when I saw Devin Davis scored 10 points, 9 rebounds, and notched 3 blocks. Will Sheehey almost got a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds, and Yogi Ferrell (11) and Troy Williams (13) were the other double-digit scorers.
The only real flies in the ointment for Indiana were the 19 turnovers (to only 8 assists) and the meager 1-for-8 shooting on threes. On Tuesday, LIU-Brooklyn comes to town for the first game of the 2K Sprts Classic.
