Hello Hoosiers,
How is the off season treating you guys? Now I know the off season is bit longer for IU fans since you guy seem to ignore that football exists but I thought I would jump on here and see if we couldn't get a conversation going about the upcoming season. As a diehard Purdue fan, this might be a bit out of place but hey, keep your friends close and enemies closer right? :)
I am curious as to what you guys think about a few topics.
1. Do you think Kevin Wilson is the man for fixing the tire fire is IU football? I was at the Oaken Bucket game last year with some friends from IU and it appeared that the initial excitement for Wilson was heavily dampened by so many transfers, a 1-11 season, and the decomment of Gunner Kiel (who appears to be a nut job if his recruitment is any indication).
2. Do you guys believe the Tre Robinson will emerge as a premier Big Ten QB next year or will he regress into the sophomore slump?
3. This one might seem a bit odd but I'm curious: what is the general consensus on Danny Hope here? Boilermakers are still pretty divided on him. The recurring theme of each of his seasons is we will lose to a team we shouldn't (Rice last year) then beat a team we shouldn't (Ohio State last year). The bowl win last year seemed to be a step in the right direction but anything less than a bowl game this year would be a big disappointment. He does seem to be bringing in some pretty legitimate recruits however. Two elite 11 QB's in Danny Etling and Austin Apply is not bad.
Anyways guys, I guess that's it. Feel free to vote and comment. Any and all feedback is welcome. I'll make sure and reply as often as I can today when I can find time to dodge work.
