Watford and the WatShot win an ESPY

Not sure anyone is truly surprised here. Christian Watford won an ESPY for his buzzer beater to beat #1 overall Kentucky in mid-December. Watford in his acceptance speech singled out Cody Zeller for the great screen at half court and Verdell Jones III for the money assist. Also thanked were Coach Crean, Watford's family, Hoosier Nation and the big man upstairs.

Let's all take a moment to remember where we were when the shot heard round the world fell through the hoop. It was a sign that the long days outside of the basketball promised land were on their way out and a nationally competitive team was about to return.
