General thoughts:
- What to do with Ohio State? I'm not going to vote them number one, even if Notre Dame loses and the Buckeyes remain the only undefeated team. Their own corruption prevented them from qualifying for the title game (and also exempted them from some stress, it seems to me). Once either Alabama or Georgia advances to the title game, that team will move ahead of OSU and stay there.
- Man, the bottom of the field is ugly. I don't feel great about ranking Penn State and Vanderbilt, but I'm just not going to rank Northern Illinois or Kent State. Neither has a quality win. Each has a horrid loss (Iowa for NIU, Kentucky for Kent State). No major conference team with such a sad resume would sniff the top 25.
