obviously, from the Penn State perspective, this game suddenly has been overshadowed by the death of Joe Paterno. I find myself surprisingly affected by this news. I have no idea what impact it will have on the game.

it happens every game
we’re the best rebounding non-rebound team in the nation. Everyone gets a hand on the rebounds, no one every actually pulls in the possession. In fact, I’d say 40% of rebound opportunities end up with the other team with the ball because we have two guys fighting each other over it.

There are teams that do it well, and I think every coach, even Knight, will or would use it on occasion as a change of pace, but I’m not a huge fan. Contrary to what the announcers say, I especially hate it against a team that has poor perimeter shooting, because it guarantees a certain number of open looks.

his offense leaves me wanting but his grit and toughness on the other end make up for it. He is definitely an asset and will have a game some time this year where we all fall in love with him. Tom Pritchard is the same way and has already had those games.
