PrintThings are really gearing up for the football season at Indiana University, but the Hoosiers face yet another year without a recognizable mascot. Enter Howie Hoosier! Howie is a Buffalo with an attitude. Many people know that the state of Indiana sports a Buffalo on its state seal, and Howie is an IU branded Buffalo who is ready to rock for the Hoosiers!
...unless you rather stick with the Hillbilly that looks a lot like Herbie Husker?

I dunno. There hasn’t been an in-the-wild buffalo in Indiana for, what… in the neighborhood to 150 years? You might as well use a sabertooth tiger as a mascot, amiright?
