Indiana 60, Minnesota 57: short-handed Hoosiers find a way again.

Stay connected for news and updates

It was not a pretty conclusion, but IU built a significant lead early and held on to win. Playing without Christian Watford, IU welcomed Verdell Jones III back, and got surprisingly good play from Jones, Tom Pritchard, and others. The Hoosiers have two priorities in the next week: first, beat Iowa; and then, since we seem to be getting better despite the injuries, we're going to have to decide who to sacrifice before the Purdue game. More tomorrow. This remains a flawed team, but I think this team is well on its way to making Assembly Hall a tough place to play again. That is a start. More tomorrow.
