End of the game play
Is it just me or are the Hoosiers simply unable to play well during the last 10 minutes of any given game. I watched last night expecting for us to fall apart late in the in second half and yea, it came to pass. I don't even have a good reason for why this is happening, but I have some suggestions on how to fix it after the jump.
Suggestions:
1. Cheat.
2. Sacrifice a live chicken before every game.
3. Cheat some more.
4. Slip steroids into all our players' hot pockets.
5. Recruit long distance runners from Africa.
6. Tell the NCAA that we're only going to play 30 minutes per game.
7. Mass suicide.
I'm welcome to any and all additional suggestions.

I vote for #2
But only if Jordan Hulls smears the blood under his eyes and across his forehead, like war paint. Then I think we are on to something.
Last night, by the way, did not seem like we fell apart. Instead, it seemed like the better team was able to assert itself on offense, aided by some sketchy officiating and a dead eye from the stripe. The key was after we had hung in there and cut it to 4 with a minute to go, Leuer gets the slop-and-one with (I think) under 5 left on the shot clock. This is only progress if there is a linear progression, which we’ll have to check after the Minny game here in a couple of weeks. I’d be ecstatic if they can knock off Illinois next Thursday. Given last night’s performance, I believe that it’s possible (but not likely).

I'll buy that.
Those 3 point plays towards the end of the game made me sad on the inside. I feel like if the game had been at Assembly Hall it would’ve at least been closer if not a W for the good guys. It does seem like there’s been decent progression as of late. If Sheehey and Oladipo can make the jump to ‘solid starters’ we’ll be in great shape. Here’s to a few more wins over the next 2 weeks.
P.S. Jordan Hulls is a badass.

Hulls is a badass
They should start telling Chuck-Norris-style tales of his badassedness. I loved seeing him be aggressive last night.
For discussion purposes: VJIII v. E’Twaun Moore. Who ya got? Having watched much of the second half of the Purdue game the other night and much of last night’s game, I’d give Moore the very slight edge. Better defender and all. But on offense, they are about a push on turnovers and Jones has a better stroke, IMHO. The difference is certainly not as great as First Team All Conference and barely an honorable mention.

E'Twaun in almost all facets.
Better defender, better post up game, better balls skills. I might say that VJIII has a little more speed but that’d be up for debate. I’d take E’Twaun every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

They are a young team and still don't know how to win yet.
A lot of possessions at the end of the game are one guy dribbling and 4 others watching. Sometimes the jumper goes in (games we win) and sometimes it doesn’t (games we lose). We really have no other options in the post. Hopefully Cody Zeller can fix that in a few years.
#10 You will be missed.
