Northwestern at Indiana (game thread).

Northwestern Wildcats at Indiana Hoosiers, Mar 6, 2010 12:00 PM EST

Yeah., sorry it's late.  One of those days.  Seems appropriate, somehow.

Still like the effort I'm seeing.

Northwestern’s just hitting more shots than they were in the 1st half.

Hulllsss

Just need to hold on. Up 8 with three and a half to go. Just hold on.

I'm sorry...

I’m so sorry… I didn’t mean to be upbeat about this team….

I really didn't...jeeeezzzz

Tie game. 8-0 Northwestern run. Go figure.

Capobianco

Saved a second chance op for NW. IU ball, twenty seconds to go.

IU botches it

Can’t even get a shot. Looking like OT barring a miracle for Northwestern, which isn’t impossible.

No reason not to be upbeat.

This has been a good performance. I really think zone is a much better fit for this team. The deflections have been excellent all day.

Bizarro Hoosiers

Team hitting FTs in crunch time.

One thing I've noticed about Elston...

…early in the season, he would barge through guys regardless of how good his opportunity underneath was. His judgment is a lot better of late, and he’s playing under a lot better control of himself (without sacrificing the energy). I think that’s the major difference in his game.

haha, wow.

Really lucky, but what a big play… that one might be the difference.

Beautiful!

NU is in foul mode. Just ice this one away.

Of all people...

Capo making FTs down the stretch. Wow.

Oi

Five second call. Leaving the door open every so slightly.

Verdell has to know not to pick up the ball there.

Call someone else over to do it, if they’re supposed to do it.

A well earned, well deserved victory.

This one, they should be proud of. Nice effort.
