NCAA Tournament open thread, day 3, with March Madness on Demand video.
The Big Ten, despite a couple of scares, fared reasonably well yesterday. Michigan State, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Ohio State all advanced. Minnesota, the only Big Ten field not favored by seed, lost to Xavier. Of course, as on Thursday, there are no Big Ten games today, but there are some games of interest: #5 Butler plays #13 Murray State at 3:20, guaranteeing that a team from outside the power conferences will reach the Sweet 16; #14 Ohio, led by former IU player Armon Bassett, plays #6 Tennessee at 3:35; #1 Kentucky continues its quest for a Temporary NCAA Championship by playing #9 Wake Forest at 8:15.

Big mistake taking Villanova to the Final Four
I knew there was going to be issues after that first game. I’ve never seen a high seed struggle like that and then go on to roll through the next few rounds. Oh well. Upsets are more exciting than having a clean bracket.
And my battleship is sunk
Oh well. How does a Butler/Northern Iowa/Saint Mary’s/Cornell Final Four sound?
