Probably, he has to win at least one of the games during the week. No, it's not entirely a team award, but it seems reasonable. -

"He's continued to improve at a very high rate on all sides. The last (three) games, he's not only our leading scorer, but he's our leading assist guy," IU coach Tom Crean said. "And he's doing a very good job of moving the ball, finding people. When he has the ball in his hands, something good happens in the sense of creating for somebody else or getting to the rim or making a shot. That's very important for us. In reference to Kofi Hughes
He would seem to be an exact fit for what a pistol quarterback is supposed to be, and should eventually help make that system more effective if they plan to stick with it.
