Not Sure That's What He Meant...
When Coach Painter said the team “needed to get back to fundamentals”, I don’t think he meant this.
Unless, this is part of a revolutionary new defensive tactic. The Reacharound Defense. If Princeton can have their Give-and-Go slashing Princeton Offense, Purdue can have their “clamp-down” overly distracting: Purdue Reacharound Defense.
To be fair though, E’ Twaun is gently holding the back of Demetri’s head like a gentleman.
The One-Liners practically write themselves…
-Gives new meaning to “going after Loose Balls.”
-Painter was overheard, “Post up… box out… grab his junk!”
-E’ Twaun whispered to Demetri after the game “Hey Demetri, there’s MOORE where that came from.”
-INDYSTAR: “Purdue Defense CLAMPS DOWN To Halt Losing Streak.”
Perhaps Moore had a concussion and imagined he was in his cattle husbandry class.
