While  the schedule below says September  5,  IU actually  opens  the season on Thursday,  September 3 against Eastern Kentucky, two months from today.  Also, we now are more than halfway through the college sports drought between the end of the Final Four and the beginning of college football.  I know this place has been a link-fest as of late, but after the holiday I'm going to start digging in to the upcoming football season.
