MLB Draft begins tonight.
Major League Baseball will conduct the first three rounds of its draft tonight, and pitchers Eric Arnett and Matt Bashore and catcher Josh Phegley all have an excellent chance to be off the board when tonight's proceedings conclude. Arnett, in particular, seems to have emerged as a consensus first rounder. For the first time, the MLB Draft, which begins at 6 p.m., will be televised for those of you fortunate enough to receive the MLB Network. For those who aren't, here is MLB.com's Draft Central. Be sure to check the SB Nation main page for a variety of open draft threads on team-based baseball sites, as well as SBN blog Minor League Ball. Finally, here is a Fort Wayne News Sentinel article about all of the draft-eligible Hoosiers.

MLB Draft
It’s always seemed to me like the biggest crapshoot ever. With so many guys in so many rounds, plus all of the high school guys who may or may not be playing again good HS competition, it just seems like it’s so dependent on luck.
Good luck to our IU boys.
